Greer guard Hash will play basketball at USC Upstate

Greer guard Chandler Hash has verbally committed to USC Upstate, his coach Jeff Neely said Thursday.

Hash is the leading scorer for the Yellow Jackets, averaging 22.8 points per game.

He also had offers from Anderson University and Navy, Neely said.

Hash was selected as a preseason top 5 senior in the state in the 3A classification.

Greer is ranked No. 1 in the 3A poll and 19-0 overall.

The Yellow Jackets finished as the state runner-up finish last year.
